Bradley Martin Biography

Unless you’ve been living under a rock at the edge of the fitness world in the past few years, you’ve probably heard of Bradley Martyn. He is a well-known fitness icon, social media star, and former physique competitor.

Bradley Martyn was born on May 22, 1989, and has had a rough start. When he was just six years old, his father took his own life. Having to go through such a tragedy at such a young age undoubtedly affects a person deeply.

However, Bradley didn’t allow this to keep him down. In numerous Instagram posts, Bradley has openly stated that he’s had a happy childhood thanks to his mother and numerous father figures in his life. He’s also been quite athletic since a young age:

I spent a lot of time riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, skateboarding, doing a ton of different things outside.Bradley Martyn

And also:

“Against all odds, no matter what you are chasing…Remember that sh*t isn’t going to be easy, in fact, it’s going to be difficult. But if you want something, then there are risks you’re going to have to take. No matter what others might say about your goals. It’s not up to the “others” to decide if it is right for you. That’s your choice only.”

At the age of 15, Bradley started training in a gym and his knowledge of the human body, fat loss, and muscle gain has slowly increased since then.

In the 2011-2013 period, Bradley also tried his hand at physique competitions with some success:

  • Placing 1st in the 2011 NPC Southern California Championships
  • Placing 2nd in the 2011 NPC USA Championships
  • Placing 1st in the 2013 NPC Phil Heath Classic

He’s given up the stage since that period.
